Application procedure
Partners Universities must send us
(movilidad@unileon.es
) the nominated students with the following
information: full name, area of study, e-mail address and period of
stay.
Otherwise we will not proceed with the application.
Very important: Read the MEDICAL INSURANCE paragraph.
We will not accept insurance policy without the full required
coverages.
Otherwise they must purchase one at their arrival.

C) Mail us the following documents:
• The Printed version of the on-line application form (above) duly
signed by you and the Coordinator
at your home institution.
This last signature may be substituted by any other supporting document
signed by your home university
certifying your participation in this exchange program with destination in
Universidad de León.
• A copy of your Identity Card –EU citizen- or your Passport –rest of
nationals-.
• A Transcript of records of your previous study results (a simple
copy is accepted).
• Two passport photographs with white background.

SPANISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Official study programs are taught in Spanish language.
You will therefore require a good level of this language in order to
communicate and succeed in an academic context.
As from now, think on reinforcing your existing knowledge and
enrolling our Spanish course prior to the semester
(information will follow by email).
INSURANCE
It is COMPULSORY that all foreign students are fully insured at least
for Medical treatment, Repatriation, Legal aid
and Civil Liability.
Students will be requested upon arrival to prove the existence and
coverage of such an insurance policy,
valid for the entire period of stay.
Insurance “Cards” are not considered sufficient proof (these usually
don’t show periods nor coverage levels)
and must be supported by a full policy wording.
May you not be able to prove this you will be invited to purchase the
Universidad de León insurance as from
the first day of stay in León at an approximate cost of 20€/month.

TWO syllabi outside their faculty. However, these courses have to be
from the SAME faculty different than the nominated one.There is an
Erasmus office in all faculties . You have to contact your Erasmus

we expect
your students to have a reasonable knowledge of Spanish. They will
be expected to follow lectures, to complete course work and to
take examinations in Spanish, so we ask all the incoming students
to have a B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages) before they come to UAM. In case this is not possible,
we ask them to please take some Spanish courses, as it will be
really hard for them to attend classes and pass the exams without
a basic knowledge of Spanish.

Step 1: Students should apply on-line and print the application form.
Step 2: send the following documents by ordinary mail:
-Application form of the University of Murcia (printed copy)

-Letter of the home university stating the Erasmus condition of the
student

Upon receipt of the documents the University validates the student's

On the basis of the Erasmus bilateral agreements, the University
assigns an academic Erasmus tutor from the
Department supporting the agreement.The tutor will be responsible for
all academic matters.
Students can enrol in any extra subjects they wish within the main
subject area.

students seeking for regular courses and courses in English at the
University of Cantabria in the framework exchange program ERASMUS
are recommended to have a knowledge of Spanish at intermediate
level B1. It is highly recommended that the students arrive before

application form and Learning Agreement must be completed online.
On completion, students have to print both forms and have the L.A.
signed by their coordinators at the home institution. These
documents should be post to the address at the bottom of this
message, along with the following :

certification issued by home university stating the selection of
the student and the period of exchange

Accommodation form

Orientation Programme Form
- Copy of
medical insurance (it can also be submitted at the arrival to
our university).
Application periods:
First semester: 1st February to 1st June
Second semester: 1st September to 1st November
Incomplete applications will not be processed
Individual applications will not be accepted. All applicants must
have been previously nominated by their home universities.
A confirmation of acceptance will be sent to the applicants once
the Learning Agreement is approved by the academic coordinator at
the University of Cantabria.
