STUDENT NOMINATION
• Contact your home university coordinator and
agree with him the programme of courses you will take at Liège.
• Contact your coordinator at ULg to have this programme checked.
• Register online within the prescribed time frame.
• Prepare a record of your marks before your exchange.
• As necessary, make sure your passport and visa are in order.
(Contact the Belgian Embassy in your home country and send it the
acceptance letter we will have sent you following receipt of your
application).
• If you are from the EU, consider getting an European insurance
card. Don't hesitate to take out additional all risks insurance.
• For stays of less than 6 months, if you wish to live in
university accommodation, send the appropriate form to the
Accommodation Office no later than 40 days before your arrival in
Liège. Enclose a copy of your acceptance letter.
• Think about a tutoring by a Liège student.
• If you wish to test or reactivate your knowledge of French and
prepare for the orientation test which is taken before courses in
Liège, make use of the French course and grammar and (written and
oral) comprehension exercises put online by ISLV-French
Department.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
From now on, students wishing to take part in an
exchange programme must fill in their application file online.
This form is accessible only to students in our partner
institutions!Applicants are invited to rigorously complete all the
steps and to fill in carefully all the boxes on the form. They
must then have the file signed and stamped by the coordinator
before signing it themselves and sending it by fax or post to the
address below.
When the full file has been received, the student will receive his
acceptance letter.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
University of Liège courses are given in French. Exchange students
therefore need to have sufficient mastery of the language, both
written and oral, to understand courses and to take part
effectively in seminars and practicals. This is why exchange
students' application files must include a document certifying
their knowledge of French.
Proficiency test:
The French level tests for non-french speaking students attending
one ore more French taught-courses in their programme will be
organised :
• 1st term : 24 and 25 September 2012
• 2nd term : 4 and 5 February 2013
Students with certificates for international tests (DELF-DALF,
TCF, TEF, TFLF) taken at an A2 or higher level in 2011 or 2012 do
not have to take this test.
The application forms will be accepted ONLY when we receive the
documents signed by the departmental and institutional
coordinators of the home institution.
The official acceptance letter will be sent to your students only
after reception of the duly signed application form.
