VERIFICA DESTINAZIONI

INFORMAZIONI AMMINISTRATIVE

STUDENT NOMINATION

After the selection of your students, please send us the following data preferably by email (Erasmus-in@univ-montp3.fr), or by fax (+33 467 142 062) or by post mail:
-Full name and address of each student and their correct and valid email address,
-Length of stay (full year, 1st or 2nd semester) and number of months,
-Subject area code of the Erasmus exchange,
-Name of the Departmental Coordinator in your university.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

All the information about the registration procedure is on our website:

http://www.univ-montp3.fr/ri/index.php?part=venir-erasmus

The application form should be completed on-line, then printed, signed by the student and the Erasmus Coordinator, stamped and sent or faxed with their learning agreement to the following address:

Université Paul Valéry – Montpellier 3
Bureau Erasmus – Etudiants ‘IN’
Route de Mende
34199 Montpellier Cedex 5 France
Fax: +33 467 14 20 62

The student must provide a valid email address so that we can communicate with them quickly if necessary.

DEADLINES

Erasmus students must register online on our university website before 31 May (first semester or full year) and before the 30th September (2nd semester ):
http://www.univ-montp3.fr/riinscriptions/move/moveonline/incoming/welcome.php

Application forms should be returned by 15th June for the 1st semester or full year and 15th October for the 2nd semester. After this date we will still be able to accept your students but we cannot guarantee accommodation in a hall of residence.

ACCOMODATIONS

Erasmus students who choose to rent a room or a flat, or to share with other students, should start looking for private accommodation as soon as they are registered at our university. There are many students in Montpellier and it can be difficult to find a place to live. We can help them by providing a few addresses and contacts but finding accommodation is their own responsibility.

UNIVERSITY ACCOMMODATION
Few rooms in University halls of residence are available for Erasmus students. So your students should make a reservation as soon as possible, by 15th June in any case.
http://www.univ-montp3.fr/ri/index.php?part=venir-erasmus3

Applying for a room in a hall of residence does not mean that the students can obtain it. They will be told whether rooms are available by 30th June at the latest. If they cannot have a university room, they will have to find private accommodation.
By accepting accommodation in a hall of residence, students must agree to pay the rent for the whole period of their mobility (prices range from 150 to 350 Euros).

In both cases (private or university accommodation), students are entitled to a housing grant from the French State (APL/ALS) proportional to the rent. The student will apply for the APL/ALS once he/she has registered at Montpellier University.
Students will be required to have their room or flat insured.
We are looking forward to welcoming your students in Paul-Valéry – Montpellier 3 University.
With our best wishes.

COURSES AND THE ETCS PROGRAMME

INTENSIVE LANGUAGE  COURSES

Intensive French courses will probably be organized before the beginning of term. French courses are also organized during the semester. We are not yet able to provide you with the dates and the conditions of registration.

ACADEMIC YEAR

Our academic year is divided into two semesters. The academic calendar will be on our web site

Erasmus students must arrive at the beginning of term for 2 main reasons :
1/ registration in courses cannot be done without the student being registered with the Erasmus office first.
2/ Availability of courses : students who join late might not be able to attend the courses of their choice.

Arriving late means that the student might face extra difficulties in the courses.
