BASIC RELEVANT INFORMATION

The Academic Year at the University of Bergen is divided into 2 semesters.

Each semester starts with an Introductory Programme for all new International Students.

All new international students are recommended to participate!

You do not have to sign up/register to join the programme as long as you have been admitted as a new student.

The Introductory Programme for autumn semester 2011 will start Thursday 11 August 2011. Programme details will be available here later in the semester.

• Courses for Exchange students: social sciences, law and psychology (UG/PG)

• Courses for Exchange students: humanities and asethetic studies

• Courses: be aware that the University of Bergen can only sign Learning Agreements which contain courses you have been granted admission to. You will find the courses listed in your Letter of Acceptance.
  This means that you should not send your Learning Agreement to our office until you have received your Letter of Acceptance, or in other ways have a confirmation from us that you are admitted to all the courses applied for.
